Inspired by the luminous ecosystems of tropical reefs, Reef Constellation captures the vibrant energy and quiet mystery of life beneath Caribbean waters. Clusters of radiant forms emerge like coral gardens illuminated by shifting currents, while scattered constellations of light evoke drifting plankton and bioluminescent sea life suspended in the deep blue.
Layers of sapphire, ultramarine, and sea-glass green flow together in organic patterns that suggest reef structures, ocean currents, and the living architecture of the sea. Larger halo forms drift across the canvas like underwater planets, creating a sense of depth and movement within the composition.
Created through an intuitive fluid painting process, the forms developed naturally through the movement of pigment and water, making the piece entirely one-of-a-kind and impossible to replicate.
